line+ was founded by Chief Architects Meng Fanhao and Zhu Peidong. It is a diverse, internationally renowned emerging design studio, currently with offices in Hangzhou and Shanghai. "line" refers to boundaries, with architectural design as the starting point, and "+" aims to transcend the clear boundaries of traditional industries. With "spatial empowerment" as its core strategy for research and creation, it responds to existing urban and rural issues against the backdrop of the times, thereby achieving value iteration and release of architecture across social, economic, cultural and other fields.

line+ lies between traditional large firms and small workshops, possessing the professionalism and quality awareness of large firms, while also embodying the research spirit and critical thinking of small workshops. From urban spatial shaping to rural regional practices, line+ actively engages in large urban public buildings, high-end living environments, rural revitalization, cultural tourism, leisure resorts, cultural education, medical facilities and more. Through cross-scale, multi-type creative practices, it explores the infinite possibilities of architecture for the times.

In addition to focusing on practice, the lead designers Meng Fanhao and Zhu Peidong are devoted to teaching in universities, aiming to combine practical exploration with academic research.
